Our new Bass Player is - Zander Greenshields!

King King have officially unveiled their new bass player, Zander Greenshields.

Greenshields is an old Glaswegian friend of frontman Alan Nimmo and he replaces King King’s departed co-founding member Lindsay Coulson, who had played bass with the band for more than a decade.

Coulson’s final show with King King took place at Glasgow O2 Academy on Sunday night (17th February) after which Greenshields was officially confirmed as his replacement.

Greenshields played with Alan Nimmo in his first band Silvertrain, then joined the Nimmo Brothers and went on to play bass for the Blackwater Blues Band. He has also performed with late drummer Ted McKenna (The Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Rory Gallagher, Michael Schenker Group).

He will perform at all upcoming European dates with King King in France, Norway and the Netherlands together with their show at KK’s Steel Mill in Wolverhampton on Saturday 11th May.
